I specialise in the provision and creation of innovative high-quality solutions for designers.  My aim is to deliver exactly what the client wants and where possible, enhance and exceed the expectations of Designer's dreams and aspirations. Its vital that I work closely with my client and maintain an agreed flow of information about the project throughout the tenure of the Brief.

Designers have incredible ideas that are challenges and stimulating in equal measure allowing me to push my knowledge base of materials and techniques into uncharted territories

My key asset is my ability to combine a sophisticated knowledge of technical expertise, tailored to a wide-ranging portfolio of briefs, whether this requires digital or traditonal modes of practice. , My technical expertise extends into all areas of the making process, encompassing facilities for sculpting, metalwork, woodwork, Polystyrene carving, fibreglass moulding and laminating, plaster work and scenic paint finishes whether it is on a large  or small scale. 

Taking on the toughest challenges is my speciality and this is underpinned by 20 years of hands-on experience in the film industry, and also within fine art.

Prop Making

With a combination of our workshop services, our capabilities are endless. Together as a team we can provide bespoke solutions for even the most extraordinary of briefs, ensuring the rigging, mechanics, base structure, paint and finishing effects surpass your expectations.

From Scaled Pink Floyd Division Bell Sculpts to a full size excavator, our scenery and prop makers have a wealth of experience.

Carpentry

I offer a wide range of carpentry and joinery services. Cabinet making; creating set structures in timber; veneering; laminating and hand finishing build items or furnishings: all our projects are crafted by highly skilled carpenters and joiners with vast experience in both traditional and state of the art wood working equipment and methods.

Metalwork

I have a comprehensive metal engineering knowledge for the fabrication of ferrous, non ferrous components and structures as both stand alone installations or as components for bespoke engineering, sculpting and staging projects. I also have a comprehensive knowledge of foundry techniques and metal casting in both Bronze and Aluminium.

Sculpting Techniques

Having worked as Technical Advisor at the Royal College of Art for 10 years, and have gained an all-encompassing knowledge of a variety of sculpting techniques: from Polystyrene carving, mould making, Resin and plastics, stone & wood carving through to any form of fabricating or assembling contemporary sculpture
