About

Jay Cole is a maker: he can make anything

He trained in Sculpture at Loughborough College of Art and Design, and The Royal College of Art, where he mastered the art of wood construction, steel fabrication, mould- making, casting in metals and plastics, carving in polystyrene and wood.

Sir Anthony Caro, Sir Eduardo Paolozzi and Antony Gormley are just three of the key figures from 20th and 21st Century Artists he has assisted in the realisation of their projects

He has led many set-based projects in the UK and abroad: training crew & locals in locations as varied as the fields of Normandy: warehouses in Tunisia: a medieval hilltop town in Tuscany: the Sahara Desert.

 

Jay now uses all his traditional and digital skills in delivering high-end design: from initial design drawings to finished props and sets in Film, Television and Theatre, as well as a range of applications relating to Fine Art practice.
